BiH Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza met with Isabelle Arnal, team leader of the EU4Justice project in BiH, and Drino Galičić, Deputy Team Leader, and the topic of discussion was legal solutions being worked on in the BiH Ministry of Justice.
Minister Bunoza informed the guests that the Justice Sector Reform Strategy will soon be on the agenda of the BiH Council of Ministers and that the Law on Courts and the Law on Conflict of Interest in BiH Institutions have been prepared and should also be in the procedure soon. He thanked the Ministry for the support and help that it receives from the EU4Justice project and expressed the expectation that good cooperation will continue in the future.
Mrs. Arnal said that legal experts from EU4Justice are ready to share their experiences, opinions, and positive practices, and that the common goal of all is the progress of BiH towards EU integration. She pointed out that the key issues on that path are the rule of law and the adoption of legal solutions that will strengthen judicial institutions. She supported the work of the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina and announced that work will soon begin on the Strategy for the Security of Judicial Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
