Prosecutorial College in Mostar

The Eu4Justice Project with other partners – Lucid Links d.o.o. within the Support Project for the HJPC of BiH and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the Embassy of the United Kingdom, and the UNDP supported a two-day prosecutorial college in Mostar.  About 130 participants attended it, among them about 110 were prosecutors, investigators and expert staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

Following Ms Tadic ‘s introductory comments, Mr Guillaume Rousson, Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH, and Dr. Ruth Wisman, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy to BiH opened the work of the college along with the two directors of the CEST in BiH. There was media coverage of the event.

Within several panels, the participants exchanged their experiences and practices on daily prosecutorial work in different specific areas. Mr Renaud van Ruymbeke, EU4Justice medium-term expert was both the moderator in a panel on “Processing cases of Organised Crime and Corruption, with a particular focus on international legal assistance” and a speaker on “Criminal processing of money laundering cases.”

At the end of the event, among the recommendations put forward by the College, the EU4Justice Team Leader proposed a recommendation based on the topics developed by the EU expert during his speeches.
